Remodeling old family jewellery into a modern design involves reusing existing materials such as Gold, Platinum and Silver as well as any gemstones and redesigning them into a new piece that reflects your personal style.

Heirloom jewellery carries deep emotional value but may not be your style. Remodeling allows you to honour the past while creating what you will actually wear.

The process typically involves:

  1. Assessment

We need to see what you have and evaluate what metals, stones and the structure of your existing jewellery.

  2. Design consultation

We explore styles that feel more “you” while respecting the original story.

  3. Stone removal and preparation

Gemstones are carefully removed, inspected for any areas of wear or concern, and then cleaned.

  4. New design creation

Your design project is created using your materials where possible, and additional metals as required for your design.

  5. Crafting and finishing

We make your design to the desired polished, ready for you to wear.

Things to consider when you remodel old family jewellery into a modern design:

  • Not all materials can be reused exactly as-is

  • Sentimental pieces can be combined into one design

  • You don’t need to know exactly what you want, we advise and guide you

  • Sustainability in recycling, reusing remodeling is a good thing, for many reasons.
