A clean and polish is complimentary with all repairs as it is an integral part o the repair process.
For tasks such as claw re‑tipping, if some claws are showing wear, we recommend that all claws are re-tipped, not just one or two claws, to restore stone security.
If you have already lost a gemstone, in most cases we can source and match a replacement. Sometimes the loss also reveals other reason for its loss like a compromised setting or claws that need rebuilding, which affects the final cost to get your jewel back in a safe wearable state.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to repair watches, but we can direct you to our neighbour a few doors down our street, who is a longstanding and reputable Watchmaker.

Common repairs we see in the workshop
Ring resizing
Overtime our client had not been able to wear her wedding rings. Like most of us ladies, her rings had begun to get a bit tight when worn together. We checked her current finger size, which meant both needed to go up 2 sizes. They were in excellent condition, so the work was straight forward. The cost to resize each ring in 18KYG was $490.
Stone replacement
This beautifully crafted minimalist design had been languishing in the drawer as the gemstone had been lost. The client had a pendant set with a Tourmaline that she thought might do the job nicely. We measured the gem and agreed it would fit the mount (empty ring). We rebuilt the claws and set her beautiful pink Tourmaline in, so that her engagement ring would be good to go for the next 40 years. The cost to repair the setting and set the gemstone was $350.
Rejoin wedding ring and re-instate the lost engraved design
As a cherished wedding ring it had suffered a break, and the engraved design had all but disappeared. We looked at the integrity of the band and rejoined it to bring it back to a wearable state. The next task was to engrave the design details back onto the band by hand, without making it look new or garish. The result was fantastic. The hand engraving really made this ring something very special and the repair was well received. The cost to rejoin the ring and hand engrave the design was $270.
