Minturn Jewellery celebrates its family-based values & its solid foundation in all thing’s jewellery.

Using gems and pearls in hand made jewellery
Where artistry meets community

Our approach to designing & making jewellery is done with honesty & open communication, following on in the footsteps of Peters' long career.  All our jewellery are one-off custom made pieces to suit the needs of our clients. To compliment that work we also offer remodeling, restoration & repair services.

Chris & Lee together, draw on a lifetime of experiences & connections within the NZ Jewellery Trade & are willing to assist anyone who requires our services.

To help facilitate our ethos, we have also created a community workshop in Auckland, called JewellersCollective+Minturn

a division of Minturn Jewellery Limited. It has been our pleasure to connect our community through conversation, creativity & identity, continuing an enduring legacy of tradition, & inspiration. We aim to provide opportunities for jewellers, artisans & craft-makers alike who have a passion to make jewellery by hand to share techniques, tools, facilities, networks & practices. The Jewellers Collective, is a communal space by where every day our work contributes to something greater than ourselves.

About Christopher:

After growing up in the workshops of renowned Designer Goldsmith, Peter Minturn MNZM, Chris learnt to uphold the core values that Peter instilled in him.  His journey started as a young boy discovering what a good piece of jewellery looks & feels like when worn.  Chris successfully built & ran Sheer Brilliance for many years, as a mobile jewellery business & later became the Director of the Peter Minturn Goldsmith School. Chris is passionate about his work & enjoys being of service to our clients. It is these values that he now brings to Minturn Jewellery and the Jewellers Collective.

About Lee-Anne:

Lee commenced working for Peter in 2000 & grew to love the work that was being produced by the designer company & by the talented students at the busy school workshop.  Forging a career in executive management & pastoral care requirements of both companies, she learnt & further developed the programmes in the pursuit of quality outcomes in education. Later she advanced this work by participating in development of the first ever NZQA approved degree for jewellery manufacture; Bachelor in Jewellery Design & Technology.  Lee also took up an opportunity at the prestigious retail boutique Franich Jewellers, Auckland.  Lee is a member of the Whitecliffe College Advisory Board with their jewellery classes. Lee continues to design for Minturn Jewellery and when time permits, take a seat at the bench to make her own pieces.
