Join our community of intermediate & experienced jewellers in a happy workshop environment. How long is the class? Held on Wednesday evenings, your course runs for 5 weeks. Each session is 3.5 hours at the bench. Who are the workshops for? This session suits jewellery makers who have completed our Essential Beginners course, or those who have experience from another jewellery focused studio. Its the perfect opportunity to channel your creativity into designing and making your own jewellery designs, or for those who want to get an existing project finished as well as starting a new design but are just a little unsure of how. This workshop is held in our New Lynn, Auckland studio. What will I learn? Your Tutor will guide you, as required, to work confidently in your own design projects. You can focus on developing existing or new skills; there is always something new to learn. We will need to cover our "New HandS in the Workshop" induction, regarding the use of workshop facilities. What do I need to bring or wear? Wear closed-toe shoes — sneakers are perfect Please tie up long hair Bring a fabric bib-apron Bring along your favourite projects, hand-tools & what you love to use in metals and gems Bring your glasses if you need them for close-up work What does my course fee include? The use of the workshop facilities. We also stop & enjoy a compulsory tea break together. Tea & coffee provided.
